FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Talobox delivery
Answers to the most common questions about pricing, delivery, packing, safety and driving on the Talobox platform.
How does express parcel delivery with Talobox work?
With Talobox you send a parcel by connecting with a driver already heading your way. Shared delivery without sorting depots – express and ecological. Base price from € 10 including the service fee.
How much does it cost to send a parcel with Talobox?
Short routes up to 50 km from € 10 (€ 8 travel contribution for the driver + € 2 app service fee). The sender may voluntarily increase the driver fee above the calculated minimum (e.g. for a heavier parcel or speed). Reducing below the minimum is not possible. For longer routes the app calculates the minimum by distance. You always see the final price before paying.
How fast does Talobox deliver a parcel?
Talobox is direct express delivery – the driver picks up the parcel at the agreed place (at home, in a shop or warehouse) and takes it straight to the recipient, without a depot stop. Speed depends on the route, distance and pick-up time – you see the delivery estimate in the app before paying. On shorter daytime routes we often deliver the same day; on longer ones (e.g. cross-country) delivery may happen at night or the next day. Classic courier services usually deliver on the next working day.
How does Talobox delivery work?
You enter the route and shipment description in the app. Drivers heading your way send offers. You choose the best one, pay by card and track the parcel live via GPS. On delivery the recipient enters a 6-character PIN and payment is released to the driver.
Do I need a label to send a parcel with Talobox?
No. With Talobox you do not need a printer or address label. Before handover, however, prepare the shipment properly and securely for transport and hand it straight to the driver – extra courier packaging is not required.
Is fast delivery with Talobox safe?
Every driver completes identity verification via Stripe Identity (ID and live selfie). Payment is held in escrow and released only after the PIN. You get live GPS, shipment photos and a digital trail – Talobox is not anonymous transport. We are not, however, a carrier or parcel insurer.
How do I become a driver and get a travel contribution?
Register in the app as a driver, complete identity verification, add your vehicle and start accepting orders on your route. After delivery you receive a fuel and travel contribution – ideal for trips you would make anyway.
How much is driver registration?
Driver registration costs a one-off € 2.20. The fee is paid by card when activating the Become a driver profile and includes identity verification.
Do I have to photograph the parcel at loading and unloading?
Yes. The driver must photograph the parcel before loading (at pick-up from the sender) and at unloading (at handover to the recipient). Photos are part of the transport confirmation under the Terms.
How large a parcel can I send with Talobox?
Talobox does not set fixed maximum dimensions. In the app you enter a description and weight – dimensions are not entered. The shipment must fit safely in the driver’s vehicle, must not endanger the driver and must be securely stowed. The driver assesses the load at pick-up and may refuse takeover.
What if the shipment is lost or damaged?
Talobox is not a carrier or insurer – liability for carriage rests with the driver under the Terms. Talobox does create a digital trail: GPS route, photos at pick-up and handover, chat, payment record and verified driver data. If there is a problem, contact support; if a crime is suspected, we may provide records to law-enforcement authorities as permitted by law and the Terms.
Can I send valuable items with Talobox?
We do not recommend sending high-value items (e.g. jewellery, cash, expensive electronics). Talobox does not provide parcel insurance. If you still send them, give an accurate description and accept the risk – payment is released only after the PIN, but we do not guarantee compensation for loss.
